My TIG interest started early in my career. A new Fairleigh Dickinson MBA, I thought I knew success metrics. My chief of staff role led me to realize an organization is more than numbers. A classic bureaucratic, group think company, the challenge of building and promoting diversity was not lost on me.
I was lucky to have a fellow Gettysburg College graduate teach me how to incorporate the good and avoid the inadequacies to lead a very diverse team with representation across all roles. Our success convinced me of the power of an authentic organization which I have used to mentor new hires and a few set in their ways.
Beyond corporate roles, I have taught college courses, facilitate workshops and support several Women in Tech groups.
I enjoy golfing and time with my wife as my daughter excels in her communication career and my son serves as an Army officer.
